What a gorgeous family - Family B!

I met mom S last year when we did J's newborn session. It's not a habit for me to ask for mom or dad's profession (nor do I remember most of the time).. but I remembered hers. Well, a lot of girls dream of being a ballerina, but I personally do not know anybody who is.. until mom S! :) How cool is that? :)  Glad to see you and the boys again and thankful for the weather that cooperated just enough for us to finish our fall session! :)

Winter to Fall.... ;) -- Back to blogging!

Well, Well... I haven't blogged in 9 months! Whoa!! Way too long!  And what a timely comeback to blog about one of my favorite clients. Met mom and dad at their maternity session in 2010! Newborn session shortly after... cake smash in between.. and 2 years later a beautiful fall session with a 2 year old! :) Great seeing you all again!! :) And Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives and having that special role of capturing your family and seeing L grow! :)

I don't really advertise that I sell gift cards but after working on this session, I thought what a great gift to get a gift of memories! A friend (and client) of mine asked me early this year if I sell gift cards.. She said she's been looking to get a gift for a family friend but couldn't really think of anything to give them. Recipient called me last month to book the family session, and was happy to meet this beautiful(and busy) family of 5!  While editing these I thought.. what a great gift to give and get.. Family "D", I hope I was able to capture the love and your 'life' in the fall of 2011! :)

What a gorgeous afternoon last Sunday.. And I almost can't believe there are still lots of "fall colours" captured in this session.. I thought for sure the leaves will be all gone..  I'm glad they are still around! Hoping for atleast another week of nice weather as I still have a few fall sessions left to do..

So, here they are... Mommy A and the girls! V is  8 and J is 13! V wanted people to guess where her shoes area.. She said for sure people won't be able to guess! :) I love her personality, such a sweet and funny girl! :)

... Mom said this is such a precious and pivotal time for the girls.. One turning tween... and the other going to high school next year. This was a 'this weekend or never' session! :) I'm glad we were able to fit it in! :)

Mommy M here and I were really hoping for nice weather so we can do an outdoor shoot.. Up to the last minute, we were hoping the rain will stop so we can have our session at the original venue. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. BUT, we were able to step out for 10 minutes to capture some family shots in the cute owl hats and boots that mom bought for the girls! :)

I first met baby A when she was a week old or so.. I took some pics then, but not enough to capture her.. So, I came back when she was almost a month old, and took more pics.. this time with big sis!

I've been feeling guilty that it took me awhile to work on these pictures. And specially that Mommy D is my BFF! Sorry for the delay! :) We spent a couple of days together at the cottage and had a mini-session! :)
